Bye i´ll miss you :(

It’s very sad to finish English classes, now all the moments we lived, will live in my memory. I’ll remember when we started speaking without doing the posts, when we had no ideas for the blogs or when George started watching YouTube instead doing the blogs. Whatever I love this class because it wasn’t stressing, in fact really enjoyed the classes.

Do the blogs was sometimes difficult, because I’m not creative, conversely, I’m a person who has a desert in his head, my head is often empty, I easily run out of ideas, because of that when I have to write a themed post, frequently; I waste a lot of time (in fact I spent 20 minutes of my life writing these hundred words approximately). But the free-themed posts were very nice and off course easier to write. But the best is commenting the blogs of my partners, I can’t write a comment without trolling, for my trolling is like a sport.

I would like to improve my English, because my writing is a crap and my pronunciation worse. I want to improve my English visiting an English-speaking country maybe the United States or England (the country of my idol, Bruce Dickinson). Another way to improve my English is takin’ a little (or big) English-course or try to get a degree in an American university (unlikely).

Out he English classes I use English, not a lot, but appreciable. I like watching videos (in english) in YouTube like Epic Rap battles of history or FilthyFrank. I love to watch memes, histories and LoL streamings. I must read papers for tests, works or presentations and they are all in english.

English is the most important language in the world and it’s necessary to expand our horizons to great and distant lands.

Things I'd like to change in my program

Well in this semester we have 5 subjects: Anatomic and biological bases, Chemistry, physics, dexterity and info-technologies. I think the last one is not necessary, it is the most useless subject in all the program. In that subject the professors taught us how to use simple programs like excel, PowerPoint, photoshop (this isn’t so easy), among others. So, I think this subject should not be on the program.

But the “necessary” subjects are too difficult, specifically anatomic and biological bases (AaBB), this semester I have spent more than 80% of my study time on this subject, is very tedious to learn, for example, all the names of the different branches of an artery or the proteins involved in the formation of dental enamel. But that isn’t everything, the anatomical cuts, also known as chops, are so old that they look like charqui, it’s impossible distinguish among an artery, a vein or a nerve, because of that the practical exams are always a massacre. So, I think that other cuts should be used or have more practice time. The 3 others are more tolerable.

About the infrastructure, I’d like to change the “Jose Joaquín Aguirre” auditorium because the chairs are not chairs, they are like a horizontal board. The tables are not tables, they are a piece of old board, and the distance between nearby desks is so small that you must choose between being uncomfortable and writing or paying attention semi-comfortable (because is impossible to be comfortable in those desks). I´d like all classes to be in the auditoriums of the dentistry faculty.

I think everything else is acceptable except the casino is the other thing that I’d like to change.

Summer?

I’m very anxious for the summer holidays, the stress of the university make me feel sad and angry (rare).

I have some plans for the summer holidays; I would like to have a trip to Valdivia or nearby places, I love the south of Chile, I love that weather on summer, sometimes are clouds, beautiful rain and there are no heat (I think everybody hate the Santiago’s heat). I`d like to visit another nice places too, I’d like to visit Villarrica or lican ray.

But my plan for December and January is working, work in summer????? I know working on summer is hard, everyone wants to rest or do nothing, but I have to work, and work hard because I want to buy a new notebook, I’ d like to save about four hundred thousand CLP. it’s a lot for me, I`ve never worked before, this is my first time. I’ll work in an App, a google app called LIFX, this app control a bulb, you can change the color of the light, you can control the bulb like a timer, among others.

Also my University partners want to make a trip to the beach, they don’t know when or where, but they are all motivated. They want to have a nice time away from here, where the stress is always present.

I would also like to be with my family, this year I’ve spent more time studying than being with my family. And if I have time (only a hope) I want to rest and sleep a lot.

The legend says that every year there is a week in September, it is not a common week, is an insane week, I have only good memories of that week, and there was no stress, no worries, everybody were happy and maybe drunk. This week is called “Semana de la escuela” (SDLE). In this picture was taken on Monday, it was the beginning of the week. All my friends are on that pic except Joshua, who is taking the photo. I think we were healthy, but not so long. I remember we started that week with a beautiful friend called “Flor de caña”, it was a nice day, my friend Carlos, also known as CRACKlos, got shaved , I remember his face, it was a painful face. The next day (Tuesday), was supposed to be the boring day, the day when all get relaxed, but it wasn’t. That day was the little concert, I think everyone enjoyed the concert, my generation (mechones) played songs like: Antonia (Gondwana), Papi donde esta el funk? (Los Tetas), Guach Perry/Mi equilibrio espiritual (Chancho en Piedra). But there was a problem, someone hit me in my nose and I started bleeding. Wednesday was my end, that day I started drinking “Terremotos”. Terremotos are a famous drink here in Chili; it has pipeño wine, pineapple ice cream and granadina, they are delicious. I think at 6 o’clock I was drunk, I have no more memories of that day.

Post graduate studies

Inside this beautiful program, there’re a lot of post-graduate studies. There are a lot of PGS (post-graduate studies), like master’s degree, doctorate (PhD) or a lot of specialties. But the most beautiful PGS is maxillofacial surgery, which is a surgical specialty which involves the diagnosis, surgery and adjunctive treatment of diseases, injuries and defects involving both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region. They work in emergency rooms and treat people who have recently have an accident or injuries.

 It has a length of three years, and it is not a cheap and easy specialty, in fact it is really expensive, it has a cost of 9.000.000 CLP per year (yeah, it’s really expensive), also, you have to buy all the instruments you need and they are not cheap.

Another specialty caught my attention, it is implantology. In implantology the dentists put implants in your mouth. An implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed on your jaw or in your maxilla bone. It has a length of three years and is expensive too.

These two specialties are my priority; these are my favorite because in these specialties anatomy is the main subject with surgical techniques. I’d like to study these specialties here in Chili. In this university (Universidad de Chile), cause is the best university in dentistry here in chili. If I have the opportunity to study a master degree or a PhD in another country, I think I’ll travel without sin.

My future job

I´m a dentistry student, so I must study hard, because I don´t want to be a dentist, I´d like to be a great dentist. Until now I think I´ll finish this program (in 7 years or more L ), because I really like the subjects like “Destrezas II” or anatomy.

I´d like to work in the public system, like in a hospital. Because people who go there needs your attention. Specifically, I want to work in an emergency room, because working there must be exciting. There you must have guts, you must not be afraid, you must try to give your best effort to obtain as reward a smile on the face of each patient. But working there must be hard, because you don’t have all the instruments you need.

I´d also like to dedicate myself to teaching because I really want to see the new generations grow, and help them. Specifically, I want to be an anatomy professor, because I think is a very important subject, if you don’t have anatomy classes, you can’t do anything, you can’t do any dental restoration, any crown, any surgery, in fact you can’t do anything.

If nothing woks I´ll study medical technology, It’s my B plan. If in the near future, I don’t like this program (dentistry) I´ll be welcome in the school of medical technology. If I study that. I´ll  likely work in an laboratory or making research

Insane night

The last Friday I didn`t go to classes, so I waked up at 12 o´clock. I did nothing special that day. On Friday M.L. asked to me if I wanted to go to his house, so I asked to my parents, they answered: off course, why not? That was the beginning of the end. I left my house at 7 to meet V.F. in Tobalaba. I went there with an old friend, I`ll call him Ron. I arrived to Tobalaba at 7:40, so I had to wait to Vicente until 8. When I was waiting, another friend, S.C. found me in that station, he was going to M.L. `s house too, so we waited to V.F. When he arrived, he told us to wait N. D. Finally, when he arrived we went to M.L. `s house. And we started to drink. I don`t remember that night, but in one moment somebody started speaking German, C.S. maybe, so I started to speak in German too, then V.F. became V. Kalashnikov and started to speak Russian, N.D. became N. Sun Tzu, and S.C. became S. Santos Da Silva. Everybody were speaking a different language. Later we started to play a game called Tomanji, but only a little, because we went to bed. I don´t remember any more of that night, nut at the next day I knew it had been a great night.

Best concert EVER!!

Well, I really like to listen music, and I`ve gone to many concerts, but I have a favorite. It was in 2013 when I was in high-school in 2º grade; I was young fan of the best band of heavy metal, Iron Maiden. I remember it was a hot day in October, I went to my house (because I had classes that day), and I changed my clothes, I put on the classic uniform, jeans, sneakers, and the black Iron Maiden shirt, I went to that concert with my brother. We had to go to Estadio Nacional, a long trip. When we arrived to the subway I was very nervous and I thought: “where the *** is my ticket”. Fortunately I had it in my pocket (I was near to die ha-ha). When we arrived at the Estadio Nacional, Ghost was in the stage playing Year Zero, and then they played Ritual (a wonderful song). Then was the turn of Slayer. They have a lot of fantastic songs but with the sound of Raining blood I exploded. When Slayer finished and the Iron Maiden stage was ready, the people began to applaud to the rhythm of Doctor Doctor intro. I couldn`t believe it, I was in the 7º Iron Maiden concert in Chile. I sang a lot of songs like the prisoner, 2 minutes to midnight, and phantom of the opera, but when I heard wasted years I had no voice hahah.

I think is the best concert I`ve ever been. I remember that some fans tried to pass to the field( they were in gallery)

my best memory: batuco day

I have been in beautiful places like Chiloe,  Valdivia, Argentina, Brasil, Italy, a lot of places with history. But in the year 2016 I went to a different place, far away. It is 36 km at the north of Santiago, in the Lampa commune, that place is called Batuco.

Batuco isn`t like the rest of Santiago, It isn`t a city with a lot of buildings,. Every Batuco resident is relaxed, happy, because they sow their own food like potatoes, apples, or carrots, so they don`t have to have office or boring works. They also breed horses and cows to eat. But some young people want to have another life in the city,  and study something. I met in 2012 in the school a young man ( and dear friend) that lived in Batuco, his name is Manuel, and he`s known as matoletepete, 1nomanos, or chinoy.

In a warm day in Janury (2016) he asked us (me, and my friends) if we wanted to go to Batuco, obviously we accepted with the exception of Goyo, he had more important thing to do.

The journey to Batuco was long and exhausting, we had to take a bus in La Paz terminal, then we  got off the bus, then we had to walk, to walk a LOT but everything was woth it, we could see the large fields with potatoes, big herds. I really enjoyed it.

England my dream

I think England is the best country in the world; it has a lot of tourist attractions, like the Tower of London, Stonehenge, or Big Ben Clock Tower.

I really like Stonehenge cause was produced by a culture that left no written records, the stones were erected around 2500bc. England also has the Eden project, which is a collection of artificial biomes that contains an amazing collection of plants from around the world.

Another place I’d like to visit is London eye, which is a giant Ferris wheel in London. The structure is 135 meters tall and the wheel is 120 meters, simply beautiful.

I see a lot of football and I think the Premier league is the most competitive football league in the world, because it has teams like Manchester city, Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea.

Visit England stadiums is a dream to me, visit stadiums like Old Trafford, The Emirates stadium or Anfield are a dream to every football fan.

I want to work to go there but I’m just a lazy package.

My experience at blogger

Make blogs can be very funny, you can write about whatever you want. I really liked to post free-themed posts, themes that are very interesting for me. It was easy to make that posts, because I knew a lot of these things, because of that I could write without any effort.

Blogs, in general, seem to me a good way to learn, write and ague about many things, from politics to videogames, from grass to stars, from reggae to metal, you know what I mean.

One problem that I have is that I don´t know how to use blogger yet. I have my blog for pair months, but I´m very archaic for these things. My Blog is ugly (I don´t know how to change it) ,sometimes I look at my classmates blogs, then I look my blog and I say: “This blog is like the child that nobody wants”.

Another problem is when I have no ideas (not even one); my head is like a barren desert, at these moments, I write (with luck) 10 words. It happened to me in some posts like a career-related website; I had to found a lot a website.  Now I’m in that state, because of the holidays.

I don’t know what else to say, therefore I will end this post.

Zerodonto

Zerodonto is a Italian blog about dentistry. Their blog "aims at communicating and sharing ideas and knowledge in dentistry." The dentists who created the blog share clinical cases in videos and images.

The dentistry topics are mainly on implantology, invisible orthodontic, endodontics, prosthodontic, restorative, oral hygiene, allergology, periodontology.

The founders of Zerodonto are: Fabio Cozzolino(He graduated with honors in Dentistry at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Naples " Federico II " in 1996), Anna Mariniello(She graduated with honors in Dentistry at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Naples " Federico II " in 2004). And Roberto Sorrentino(Graduated with full marks and honors in Dentistry in 2002 at the University “Federico II” of Naples).They have about 40 contributors.

The blog has more than 80 videos. I really like the videos of GTR(Guided Tissued Regenaration) 

wich is a dental surgical procedure that use barrier membranes to direct the growth of new 

gingival tissue at sites with insufficient volumes or dimensions of gingiva for proper function, 

esthetics or prosthetic restoration.
